Video

MEMRI has a section with videos of Islamic sermons, which are subtitled. Watch at your own risk (includes words like: kill, explode, death,... in connection with Jews, of course).

Louis (XIV) Michel strikes again

Louis Michel, Belgium's foreign minister, is not convinced Saddam Hussein has WMD's, even after the Tony Blair's report. See here for more on that.
But Louis Michel was also the person who shook hands with Arafat, Castro and Kabila without flinching, but refused to shake hands with Jorg Haider or be photographed next to Silvio Berlusconi. So we know where he's coming from...

Belgium rules the world ;-)

Great parody at ScrappleFace:White House Stymied as Belgium Opposes Iraq Attack.

Please think of the Children!

And let them watch the Happy Tree Friends! I just got this in the mail and thought it was hilarious.
Don't be fooled by the initial look, it's just as violent as Tom & Jerry, rest assured... And most of you turned out okay after watching them in you childhood, didn't you?

Predicting the future for fun and profit

All you armchair strategists, head over to TheTimeandDate.com, and place your bets on when the attack on Iraq will begin. The rules are simple: for $2 you can pick a date and time when you think the first bomb will be dropped on Baghdad, and the winner takes the pot (well, most of it).
Note that if you don't think there will be any war, there aren't any prizes to win at that site. Might this be another evil Bush plot to warm up the public to a war? I.e., 'we gotta have this war, I gots two bucks riding on it...!'

Hey, I do that too... sometimes

Sour Bob has posted a neat list of blog-annoyances somewhere near this link (blogger links are acting funny right now). I think I fall under #7, but I don't need a date (what would my girlfriend say?!).

Iraq dossier

For those of you who are interested in that kind of stuff, the dossier Tony Blair has been compiling about Saddam Hussein can be downloaded here.
Of course, if you are one of the people who believe Tony is just a 'capitalist lapdog' of George 'Hitler' Bush, you probably won't need to download it, because 'it's all lies anyway'.

Blogosphere bigger than English speaking world... film at 11.00

Whatever this is about, a lot of people seem to think it is important, becasue as of this moment it ranks number one on blogdex. Trouble is, I can't tell what it is all about, because it's written in Arabic script:
